Virtual Web Servers

Our virtual websites are powered by BSDI (UNIX) and Windows 2000 Advanced Servers. The BSDI servers run the current versions of the Apache webserver and PERL distribution. The Windows servers run the current version of IIS and support FrontPage extensions. Our Windows servers also run Sun's Java Web Server 2.0 to support Java servlets. Virtual website service includes a generous 20 Mb of storage space and 1 Gb of Internet traffic, unlimited (7 x 24) guest-ftp access, individual CGI support and comprehensive activity reports accessible any time through your browser. All clients with websites are linked to our "micro-search engine," the Gate-Wave to the North Shore, at no additional charge. For your convenience, we have outlined the necessary steps to establishing a virtual website.

E-Commerce Servers

We provide e-commerce solutions through the well-proven Stronghold secure web server and Secure Certificate from Thawte on our UNIX servers and the Windows IIS server on our Windows 2000 Advanced Servers. Secure transactions may then be transferred via email secured by PGP/GnuPG or by a variety of third-party clearinghouses, depending on your preference.

Database Servers

Our database servers include MySQL and Velocis, which are supported on our UNIX servers.

FTP Servers

We offer virtual FTP servers, running on either UNIX or Windows servers, for those with large file storage and transfer requirements. Service provides 20 Mb of storage space and 1 Gb of Internet traffic.

Servers

Our Real servers run on UNIX and Windows servers, providing streaming audio and video capability to your website.

Virtual Email Servers

A virtual email server enables any mail addressed to your domain to be delivered to a default email address. Our virtual email server uses the current version of the industry-standard Sendmail SMTP server on a UNIX server. We employ Sendmail's new sophisticated anti-spam features, which blocks out the majority of "junk email" from reaching your inboxes. Service provides up to 10 accounts, 20 Mb of storage space and mail forwarding.

Co-Located Servers

Provides your server with a direct ethernet connection to our network, space, environmental control, standard electrical service and two emergency reboots (according to your instructions).
