MailCheck Update |

February was a very busy month at the Cove! We upgraded our MailCheck software, installed several new anti-virus filters and created a new email service. Most of you have noticed a decrease in the amount of spam reaching your inbox due to an additional spam filter we installed as part of our MailCheck upgrade. The new MailCheck software also includes an updated, self-learning bayes engine, which helps identify spam. |

and ensure we identify all viruses. We've also increased the frequency of our virus definition updates from daily to hourly since the appearance rate of new viruses is increasing. We are now offering a business-grade of email service. This new service offering differs from our normal email service in the way spam is managed. Business Email Service | |||

Cove now offers two levels of email service: personal- and business-grade. The personal email service is our normal email service. |
Our new business email service differs in the way spam is managed and is available to anyone with a domain name or any subscriber willing to change their address to @covemail.com. |
Both tag spam and receive the same anti-virus protection. However the business service delivers all messages while the personal service prevents most spam from reaching your inbox. |
The business service avoids random spam by providing inboxes on a separate POP server. |
