Please use this new number starting April 15.
We are changing our phone number again ... last time, we promise. :)
Our new number is 978-236-8380.
Please use this new number starting April 15.
Moving along with the times, we now have a VOIP system in place to provide phone service!
Our new number is 800-841-COVE (2683).
Please use this new number starting May 1.
Our old phone numbers, 978-741-5300 and 978-282-3399, will be discontinued at the end of this year.
As you know, we changed our main phone number to 888-903-COVE (2683) back in June. We also planned on keeping our old numbers forwarding to the new number until the end of 2005 so everyone could get used to dialing the new number.
The phone menu remains the same; callers with non-dialup technical support, sales and other business-related matters should select "option 1" and dialup customers can receive our dialup access numbers, dialup access settings and email settings by selecting "option 2."
Dialup access customers can also get technical support by calling our toll-free, 24-hour help desk at 877-221-2116.
Technical support for all other customers (i.e., T1, dedicated access in Shetland Park and web hosting customers) is managed directly through our office and not through the help desk. These customers should call our main number and select "option 1" or send an email to admin@cohost.com for technical support. We will be adding another toll-free, 24-hour number for these customers in the near future.
Thank you for your continued support!
Welcome to our new Information Portal!
This portal is an improved version of our old newsletter, which ran for 10 consecutive years.
From August 1995 to July 2005, we published our newsletter in print (enclosed with invoices and statements) and on our web site at http://www.cove.com/newsltr.html, which was also emailed to everyone.
So what is a portal? Well, our portal is a collection of blogs.
What is a blog? Blog is short for weblog. A weblog is a journal that is frequently updated. For a more detailed explanation of blogs, see http://rss.msn.com/more.armx. So instead of publishing a monthly newsletter, we will now make entries in our blogs. We will maintain a blog for each type of service we provide, creating relevant news entries in each blog as they develop.
For example, this page presents our "main blog," where you will find general news about our company. There are also blogs containing news about our various services (on the menu to the right under Categories).
This portal provides a much less intrusive way to keep you up to date and will save a few trees in the process. ![]()
You can now quickly browse the type of news that interests you without having to go through all the other news that doesn't.
You can now also decide which way you want to keep up with our news. You can simply browse this web site every once in a while, in which case you should bookmark this page. Better yet, you can click on the RSS tag and "subscribe" to one or more of our blogs, which will then give you the latest headlines as they are published. Just click on the headline and it will bring you to that article!
How is this done? All you need is an RSS-aware program like Firefox, Thunderbird, Safari or any of the many other RSS feed readers available for free on the Internet. Again, http://rss.msn.com/more.armx can provide you with more details. Also, check out http://email.about.com/cs/rssfeedreaders/tp/windows_free.htm for the top ten Windows RSS feed readers and http://email.about.com/cs/rssfeedreaders/tp/top_rss_mac.htm for the top ten Mac feed readers.
Another improvement is now you can submit comments about our articles for everyone to see!
Lastly, if you have your own blog, you can write about our blogs and they can "trackback" to ours, creating links between our blogs. ![]()
We hope you enjoy our new newsletter format. We understand that it may take a bit for you to get used to this new technology, but once you do, you'll wonder how we ever lived without blogs!
