Dial-up Service Features

Fast Connections

We offer reliable V.92 dialup access. We are connected to the Internet through multiple high-speed circuits from diverse sources. This prevents congestion and outages by circuit failures.

Unrestricted Use

We have no "fine print." We do not make any distinction between "primetime" and "non-primetime" hours. We have no additional charges for the amount of data transferred above a set amount. We also have no limitations on the amount or size of your email, as long as you are not spamming anyone.

Most subscribers do not understand "techno-babble." Our friendly, highly qualified technicians give you answers in plain English and "walk you through" correcting the problem. Best of all, your tech support team is available to you 24 hours a day through a toll-free number!

Spam/Virus Protection &
Generous Storage Space

All accounts include an email (pop) account with Cove's MailCheck protection. Our exclusive MailCheck Service provides excellent protection against spam and virus-infected email from reaching your inbox. We also provide all accounts with 20 Mb of disk space for email inboxes and another 20 Mb of disk space for personal web sites!

Family-Oriented Content

We are still a family-owned business and a large percentage of our subscriber base are families and local schools. Our family orientation is evident on our webpages. There is nothing on our pages or links that anyone would feel uncomfortable having on their living room table.

Local Service

We provide local dialup access throughout Massachusetts, many since 1995. You can find your local access numbers here. Our service focus is on you - the local businesses and residents. We have no intention of expanding our service area outside of the New England. We do, however, plan to continue to grow within our service area - for many more years.

Account Set-Up Fee

$20 (one time only).

Basic Access Plan

$20/month. Provides 100 hours of access per month (averages over 3 hours per day for 30 days). This rate is recommended for most users.

Extended Access Plan

$25/month. Provides 250 hours of access per month (averages over 8 hours per day for 30 days). This rate is recommended for business users.

Unlimited Access Plan

$30/month. Provides unlimited access each month (up to 744 hours per month!). This rate is only recommended for users requiring "always on" access.

Multi-Link

Double the selected rate less $5/month. Allows two simultaneous connections.

NOTE: There are no per minute or per hour charges if you exceed the monthly access hours shown above. Subscribers who consistently exceed their allotted access hours may be upgraded to the appropriate plan at our discretion.

Additional Email Accounts

$5/month each. No setup fee.

Bulk Email Accounts

$4/account for 5 to 9 accounts and
$3/account for 10 or more accounts. No setup fee.

SunBird Service

$5/month. Maintains your account "on-hold" while you're away for an extended period of time. Your email account remains active and we'll forward email to another account, if you wish. Dial-up access is suspended until you return.

Road Warrior Service

varies. Provides a personal, toll-free number to dial when accessing our network while traveling. No need to fumble around for a local access number and you pay only the usage charges!

High Speed Access
Shetland Office Park

We also offer high-speed Internet access to companies located in Shetland Office Park in Salem, MA. Interested companies may request more information here.
