This page shows how to change the dialup access number for a Macintosh through the PPP Control Panel.

Please remember to always reboot your Macintosh after making any changes to the PPP or TCPIP control Panels.

The PPP Control Panel:

To access the PPP Control Panel, click on the Apple menu icon, click Control Panels, then click PPP (or Remote Access if you have Mac OS 8.5 or greater, or an iMac).

Enter your local dialup number. The local dialup numbers are:

Beverly 978-998-6768
Gloucester 978-281-0561
Newburyport 978-463-4089
Salem 978-745-3297
Topsfield 978-887-2851
