We understand how important email is to you and have selected a new mail system we know you will appreciate.
Our new mail system provides you with an impressive set of features:
We have increased the amount of disk space you can use to store your email by 4,000%, from 50 MB to 2000 MB!
No need to worry if messages will be returned to sender because your mailbox is full.
Your new WebMail interface is very much like your own email program. In fact, you may find this new webmail interface easier to use than your current email program.
Your new Webmail is located at http://webmail.cove.com
Let's take it for a test drive.
Inbox. After logging in, you will be presented with your Inbox.
Many of you will be pleased that the login now works; first time, every time. :)
Your Inbox has several buttons in its panel. For most of these buttons, you put a check in the box next to the message
before using them. For example, clicking on the Delete/Undelete button toggles the message as marked or unmarked for
removal. Notice that you must click the Purge Deleted button to actually remove messages!

Sending Mail. To send a new email, you click the New button.
This probably looks just like your email program and is used the same way.

WebMail Folders. Your Inbox is one of several default folders in your WebMail interface. The other folders are Quarantine, Drafts, Outbox and Sent Items. These folders are just like the ones in your email program and they work the same way.
The only folder you might not be familiar with is the Quarantine folder. This is your SPAM folder and is where all messages judged by the mail system to be spam end up.
To remove unwanted emails from your Quarantine folder, just put a check mark in the box next to the message and then click
the Delete and Purge button.

Now let's take a look at the links on the top of the page.
Check Mail. No surprises here; when you click this link, the WebMail will check for new messages.
Contacts. This is your Address Book and works the same as the Address Book in your email program.

Here you can add or delete a contact and import or export contacts.
Let's see how you add a contact.

You will want to put a name in, so you know who the contact is. You will also need to put the email address in, so you can use the contact to send email. The rest of the fields are optional. Be sure to click the Save and Close button when you are done.
Now let's take a look at importing contacts.

This feature comes in handy if you already have an Address Book with many contacts. All you need to do is export your current Address Book to a .CSV file somewhere on your computer, click the Browse button to locate that file and then click the Import button to upload the file to your WebMail interface.
Settings. Now you can make changes to your email account! Any changes you make here become effective within
a minute or two.

Let's take a look at the changes you can make to your email account.
Options. This is where you can forward new messages to another email address and make changes to your WebMail interface. Be sure to click the Save button when you are done.
The top section shows your email login info, but you cannot change your password here. If you want to change your
email password, call tech support at 877-221-2116.

Auto-reply. This is where you can set up an autoresponder.
Just put a check in the box next to Enable Auto-reply to start it and uncheck the box when you want to stop it.
Proper Internet etiquette requires checking the next two boxes, the ones next to Reply only if original message is sent to me and Reply only once to each sender. This spares the sender having to receive autoreplies from you if you were just copied on their message and limits the autoreplies to just one per sender. No reason to fill their inbox with multiple copies of the same autoreply, right? :)
Please do not check the box next to Include original message in auto-reply! Spammers will use this to spam people using your email address!!
Be sure to click the Save button when you are done.

External Accounts. You may like your new WebMail so much that you want to use it for all of your email accounts. :)
This is where you can enter your other email accounts' information, so your new WebMail will get that mail for you, too. Be sure
to click the Create button when you are done.

At last, you are now able to control spam according to your preferences! From the Settings link, click on
Email Filtering.

Let's see how you can control spam and viruses:
Spam. Our new Mail System provides you with 3 options for filtering messages it identifies as spam: delete them, put them in your Quarantine folder or tag them. Notice that the tag has changed from {SPAM?} to (POSSIBLE-SPAM).
You can adjust the Spam Filter Level from Normal to Extreme, or disable spam control completely. This changes how tolerant the Mail System becomes in judging whether your incoming messages are spam or not.
You can also filter your mail by category. This is a great feature for bypassing the spam filters for certain types of email. For example, if you receive newsletters and want them to bypass your spam filter, just uncheck the box next to Newsletters.
Be sure to click the Save button when you are done.

Virus. The Virus Filtering rules are set to put the virus-infected email into your Quarantine folder and notify you
that it is there. For your protection, these rules cannot be changed.

Phishing. Phishing is a criminal attempt to fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by masquerading as a trusted entity.
You can adjust the Phishing Scanning Level from Normal to Extreme, or disable phishing control completely. This changes how tolerant the Mail System becomes in judging whether your incoming messages are phishing attempts or not.
Be sure to click the Save button when you are done.

Forbidden Attachments. Attempts to infect your computer are often made through attachments, so it is wise to control the types of
attachments allowed into your Inbox. Like viruses, these rules are set to put the email into your Quarantine folder. For your
protection, these rules cannot be changed.

Languages Filter. Do you know people who send you email in a different language? Now you can prevent your spam filters from thinking it is spam.
We suggest you block all languages you do not know. Just move those languages into the Blocked Languages box.
Be sure to click the Save button when you are done.

Blocked Senders. This is your blacklist, where you can add email addresses you do not want to receive email from and tell the Mail System what you want to do with those emails.
Be sure to click the Save button after changing these preferences or the Add button after adding a sender.

Trusted Senders. This is your whitelist, where you can add email addresses you do want to receive email from.
Be sure to click the Add button when you are done.

Quarantine Reports. Our Mail System notifies you when you have mail in your Quarantine folder. This is where you can tell our Mail System how to process those notifications.
You can tell the Mail System to either never send you a report or send one every 1 to 15 days.
Be sure to click the Save button when you are done.

Custom Spam Rules. You can even create you own anti-spam rules! Just leave the check mark in the box next to Blocked by rules in Spam Filter preferences, then click on the Settings link on the top bar and then the Rules link.
Rules. This is where you can create your own anti-spam rules. Click on the Add Rule button to create a new anti-spam rule.

Enter a name for your new rule. Select whether the rule applies to all your email accounts, or just the one you are logged into. Then select
the criteria for the rule (i.e., Subject, From, To, etc).

Now select the second criteria for the rule (i.e., contains, does not contain, etc) and enter the value you want these criteria to apply to
(e.g., a subject, email address, etc) in the next input box. Be sure to click the Save button when you are done.

Welcome to the new WebMail and Mail System. We truly hope you enjoy it!
